Full Schedule

I had signed Kingston up for a full schedule with classes at the community center. I found out yesterday that the teacher for all of those classes, was the same one who we had major problems with before. She happens to be the teacher for the majority of classes with the 3 year old level. I called the center and explained the situation and they helped me find a few classes taught by another teacher. Thank heavens! I wasnt ready to deal with that last teacher again. She had something against Kingston. Complaining every time I picked him up from class that he is a misbehaved child was enough for me. Anyway, his new classes are: Monday- Messy Mondays where they paint, and glue, and use sparkles and just get super messy having fun making things. Tuesday is swim lessons, Wednesday is Rock N Roll Kids where they dance with other kids and just get all their wiggles out. Thursday is swim lessons, and Friday is Krafty Kiddos where they do a lot of crafts. I am excited for him to make new friends and continue to learn how to interact with other kids. This will be his schedule until the middle of December. Starting in March, I can register him for the pre-kindergarten classes. I am very excited about that. He will hopefully learn some good things there and be very prepared for kindergarten in less than 2 years. Kenna was able to come to Kingston's class today and she insisted on holding his hand the whole way to and from class. It was so sweet.

Chez Got A Boo Boo, Hair, and Seattle, Presents!

The last two weeks have been very eventful for the Jones family. It started out two Mondays ago. Chez was at his Softball game and there was a new kid on the team. This was a guy who wasn't an experienced softball player. In fact, I dont know if he ever played before. Anyway, he thre chez a pop fly and for some reason he didn't think the ball was going far enough so he started running after it. Obviously Chez was already running for it and had no idea this other guy was too. They collided bad. Chez's tooth split through the guy's nasal cavitiy and he also tore his acl. This guy went to the hospital right away. Chez was left with a massive black eye that was swollen shut, numb teeth (even now), and severe pain in his face. He on the other hand, continued to play and despite my begging and pleading with him to see a doctor, waited three days until after the injury when the pain got worse, to see a doctor. They took x-rays and said all was well and it would just take time to heal. They gave him pain meds which just made him sick. They tried another pain med for him, which does not work for the pain at all. I am now begging him to go to our family doctor this time for a second opinion. He has a huge hard knot on his eye brow, his teeth are numb, and his face is in so much pain. It has been over a week since the incident. I hate seeing him so miserable. I am not a believer in pain. I hope they A-find the right pain med for him and B-make absolute certain nothing else is wrong with him.
Second thing was my hair. I went to a new salon here in Vegas that had top reviews and is top 100 in the country. My stylist had three different people helping him out as assistants the whole time so I felt I was really in good hands. I didnt find out until after all the foils were in my hair that he had done Jennifer Aniston's hair twice before when he worked at the Mandalay Bay here in Vegas. I was quite impressed. It was fun to hear him talk about her and how tiny she is in person and everything. He also gave me the BEST scalp massage ever. Best part about getting my hair done! The color came out great. When he did my cut, his technique was amazing. It's funny cuz it kinda looked like a cut that Jennifer Aniston has. I was very impressed by this salon and my stylist. I will be going back!
Next was Seattle. We flew out without Chez (he had to work). The first night we flew in, Kenna threw up the entire night. Poor thing had no idea what was going on. I didnt sleep at all that night and my parents both work so there was no sleeping in for me. She threw up most of the next day as well. I figured it was just because she has a dairy allergy (which ctually I think she does) but the next night, Kingston was up throwing up. Another sleepless night for me and a lot of laundry the next day. We had so many fun plans scheduled for the week. We managed to go to the corn maze one day but Kenna still wasnt feeling well. We also went to the zoo the day after Kingston was sick but the whole time he complained about how sick he was. The next night after Kingston threw up, I started. I ended up throwing up the entire night as well. I spent the next two days so miserable in bed. Thankfully it was the weekend by then so my parents were able to help out. Not to mention, my 11 year old neice stayed a few nights to help out. The next day after I was throwing up, I made the mistake of giving Kenna milk that day and she ended up throwing up the entire day. Afterwards, she slept for a whopping 24 HOURS STRAIGHT! Wow! I was so homesick and just wished I was at home with Chez. It was terrible. Finally on Tuesday (the day before we flew back home), we were all feeling better. We hung out with my sister and her kids. We flew back home late last night. Kenna ended up screaming and arching her back for 15 minutes straight on the airplane. It was just the cherry to top of a nightmare of a trip. You cannot even imagine my joy when I saw my husband's face.
Last thing that happened was coming home. First I was greeted at the airport by Chez. He had picked me up in my car. There was a diamond license plate cover on which was awesome and the car was super detailed. When we got home, Chez had laid out Kenna's pjs, made her a bottle, and had her crib all ready to go. Kingston's bed was also ready to go with a drink on his nightstand. I then noticed that the tile floors downstairs were immaculately clean (as well as the entire house in general). The carpets were soft and had been professionally cleaned. I had brand new bedding on my bed. A silk comforter and brand new 1000 count sheets and pillow cases. I also had a note sitting on the table from Chez for me to read. It was one of the sweetest letters I have ever gotten. In the letter, it had said I would find presents throughout the house the next day. Sure enough, I woke up and found a brand new vacuum/steamer in the laundry room closet(something I have wanted bad), a CD cleaner next to the tv, a new fan for the computer (the old one was so loud), and all the cupboards and drawers completely cleaned out and organized. Each present including the cleaned drawers and cupbaords, were either wrapped in a gift bag or had ribbon and a bow on it. On Saturday, Chez has a babysitter all lined up and he is taking me on a date. I am so happy to be home. There really is no place like home.

Busy Mommy

A friend of mine posted an article on facebook about how friends (not all friends) dont get what moms do all day. They couldnt be busier than they are?? Well, I am super busy all day. I may not have a busy job in the city, but I have a job that is 24-7. In the morning I get up with the kids, feed them breakfast, change their clothes, run them to preschool, swim lessons...., read to them, play with them, and answer their every beck and call. I don't usually get a shower in until late afternoon. My one date night a week is the time I get without the kids. Our friends often come with us but sometimes I would just LOVE to have one night alone to just RELAX. I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mom but it's definitely a tough job.

Fun and Looking Forward to Fun!

I have always thought that it is super important to have things to look forward to. I always make sure to have things to be excited for. For example, I always love decorating for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas so the kids and I each week decorate, do holiday crafts, and baking. I also look forward to upcoming trips(even small ones), and upcoming activities like dates. Daddy just took Kingston to an all boys night out at the "School bus hotel"(The Southpoint). Kingston had a blast and it made me super happy to see him so happy. I want him as well as Kenna to always have at least one thing they look forward to doing. I am currently looking forward to seeing the show Ka on Tuesday. It's a cirque de soileil show and it's supposed to be really good. Looking forward to Seattle to see most of my family in a week and a half, a trip to DisneyWorld/land (haven't decided which one yet) in the end of October or beginning of November, a possible trip to Cancun in December (it's turning into a yearly tradition), of course Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the one I am most excited about......MAUI in February! It is a trip for just Chez and I and all the people in his company who have done as well as Chez has and it is an all expense paid trip. It is a trip that totally spoils! We went on a few before with his work like the Bahamas cruise, the Emmy awards, and Puerto Rico and I felt like royalty. I am especially looking forward to Maui because Chez and I havent had a trip alone together since last February when we flew to Vegas to house hunt (romantic I know!). So I am extremely excited! Lots to look forward to!
