New bed, new suit, new Steeler's jersey, and a new sandbox!

Kingston has had a lot of spoiling lately. He is the only child and I have to admit that I spoil him A LOT! There are good reasons for all of it though ;). For example, a couple weeks ago, I found Kingston downstairs playing the the kitty litter box! Gross!! I then found him in the litter box every day until I decided I was sick of sanitizing his entire body to kill all of the nasty kitty waste germs. It was getting old. Chez and I decided to buy Kingston a sandbox of his own to play in. It is a little messy in the basement with all of the sand, but since the basement is not finished, we decided it's okay.

Next on the list is his new Steeler's Jersey. It is so cute on him and Chez is so proud of it. Kingston and I have matching ones. Since he is getting so tall, he is quickly growing out of his summer church clothes, so I went and got him the cutest little suit. He is only 18 months old but he wears a 2T-3T depending on the brand!

Lastly, and most importantly, we got him his very first big boy bunk bed. We were not going to get a bunk bed but when he saw it at the furniture store, he loved it. He laid in it and climbed the ladder over and over. I figure with the shape of it, he wont have any problems falling off of this bed. I had so much fun picking out his bedding. I put him in it tonight until he had enough of it then I put him in his crib. We are slowly going to get him used to it until he sleeps the whole night in it then we will just put a baby gate up in his doorway.

Mommy's Little Angel/ Devil

From time to time I catch I stumble across funny picture moments with Kingston. He will do something that looks so wrong that I have to take a photo. A few months ago I caught him sucking on a white pen that looked like a cigarette. Today I caught him drinking out of a Rottbeer bottle that looked like beer. So here goes. Enjoy!

Random Pictures

I was going through my recent pictures and found a bunch of Kingston that I thought were really cute. The pictures are of him figuring out his big boy potty, playing on the piano, a really funny one of him with a towel over his water wings(he looked like ET!) and of him playing on the quarter toys. I always say this, but he is just getting so big. He is not my little baby anymore! Pretty soon he will be in his own big boy bed and getting up in the morning without my help. Oh how the time flies!

The Fair

My mom was in town last week so we decided to take Kingston to the fair. This would be his very first trip to the fair ever. I wasn't sure if he would be allowed to ride any rides, but they let him if I was wtih him. It was so fun for me to see the enjoyment he was having. We rode on the carrosel, some flying elephants, and flying cars. He also got to pet the baby goats which he really liked. So, his first trip to the fair was a successful one.

Family Photos

Ever since Kingston was born we have been going to JC Penny to get our family photos taken. Honestly, they do a really good job and they are very inexpensive so for now we will keep going there. But if anyone has any good recomendations on photographers in town, I would love to hear about them. For now, these are some of the pictures we had taken. Kingston did such a good job and the photographer really knew how to make him laugh.

Vegas

Chez and I just flew back from Vegas today. We had soooooo much fun. It was probably our best trip yet. The first day we rented a Dodge Charger (which to us was pretty awesome). We ate out at IHOP (again, to us it was awesome. I love diner food thanks to Guy Fiery on the Food Network!) That night we decided to head to some casinos on the strip to spend a little money or rather to give away our money but all for entertainment purposes. Well.........instead of giving away our money, we racked up $800 dollars worth in two hours with luck. Chez hit about three 3 of a kinds at a game called Three Card Poker, and I hit a straight flush. With the money we won, we left and went to bed for the night and thought about how we would spend it. Of course, Chez and I bought ourselves some clothes at the enormous outlet mall then we bought show tickets to the Blue Man Group and the Tale of Kings. The Blue Man Group was a very strange show but we really liked the Tale of Kings. That was really fun and silly. We also met up with some friends and ate at a super delicious brunch buffet with crab, shrimp, sushi, and basically you name it. So, needless to say, we had a ball with the money we won. We had a little left over after that so we played a few more table games in the casino. We spent our mornings hanging out in tubes going around the lazy river at the resort and swimming. We had such a blast and I am a little sad to be home already. I am also really happy to be home with my little guy too. I missed him a ton. Grandma took excellent care of him and she really enjoyed the bonding time she had with him. Since Chez and I have been to Vegas numerous times, we just don't take pictures anymore. However, we did get a picture of one of the performers in the Blue Man Group. Hopefully that's good enough!

Off we go!!!

This will be my last post before mine and Chez's private getaway to Vegas. We are super excited to be going alone. It will be really good to spend some quality time together and have fun. Having children is amazing but sometimes parents get so wrapped up in their children, that the romance gets a little neglected. So, we are off! This is a picture of the resort we usually stay at. It is my absolute favorite. It's paradise.
